We do not currently require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or any personal identifying information to use the free analysis tool.

How Your Files Are Handled

Files you upload (photos, PDFs, or text) are processed by our AI analysis system and then permanently deleted from our servers after your analysis is complete. We do not store, sell, or share your repair estimates with any third party.

Your uploaded content is sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing and can be found at anthropic.com/privacy.

We use the following third-party services to operate FairMechanic AI:

Anthropic: Powers our AI analysis engine
Vercel: Hosts our website
Railway: Hosts our backend server
Cloudflare: Provides DNS and security services
Amazon Associates: Powers parts comparison links (we earn a commission on qualifying purchases)

We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies

We use minimal cookies necessary to operate the service, such as remembering how many free analyses you have used. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
